Policy Research Institute (PRI), IMF (Fiscal Affairs Department), and Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) held The Tokyo Fiscal Forum Seminar “Towards Post COVID-19 Fiscal Policy and Digitalization in Asia” on December 7, 2021.
Government officials and experts in fiscal policy from 16 countries in Asia and beyond had intensively discussed the development of fiscal policy after COVID-19 and the role that digital technology can play in ensuring fiscal sustainability in Asia. The discussion was conducted in terms of policy aspects in light of the support from IMF, and challenges and case studies of each Asian countries.
