The Policy Research Institute (PRI) has been providing support to the training agency for Myanmar’s Ministry of Planning and Finance (MoPF) since May 2018, in response to the request letter received from Mr. Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister of MoPF in May 2017.
PRI, Budget Bureau, and Accounting Center (Ministry of Finance Japan) visited MoPF and held the second seminar under the themes of “Flow of expenditure execution in Japan” and “Governmental accounting affairs data communication management systems (ADAMSII)” mainly for MoPF officials. We also met with Mr. Maung Maung Win, Deputy Minister of MoPF and exchanged opinions.

August 7 (Wednesday) – 29 (Thursday): Seminar for Central Asian and Caucasian Countries 2019 |
Every year, PRI holds the Seminar for Central Asian and Caucasian Countries with the aim of contributing to human resource development in these countries by accepting young executive candidates and professionals dispatched from their ministry of finance, etc.. This year, PRI held the seminar for 18 participants from seven countries for the period from August 7 (Wed) to 29 (Thu).

August 19 (Monday) – 29 (Thursday): Seminar for Middle-ranking Executives from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan |
PRI received three middle-ranking executives form the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and held the Seminar for Middle-ranking Executives from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the period from August 19 (Mon) to 29 (Thu). As part of the seminar, the three participants exchanged opinions with executives from the Ministry of Finance Japan and other participants.
