Negotiations for Tax Convention with the Philippines will be Initiated
1.The Government of Japan and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines will initiate negotiations for the amendment of the current Tax Convention (Convention between Japan and the Republic of the Philippines for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income) which entered into force in 1980 and was partly amended in 2008.
2.The negotiations will take place from January 27.
