Japan-U.S. Finance Ministerial Meeting (October 27, 2025)
On October 27, commencing at 7:00 p.m. [JST] for approximately 1 hour, Minister Katayama held the first bilateral in-person meeting with the Secretary of the U.S. Treasury, Scott Bessent. They exchanged views on a range of global economic issues and reaffirmed to further strengthen Japan-U.S. cooperation to address various bilateral and multilateral issues.
