On June 5, 2024, in Chisinau, Moldova, Mr. Masato Kanda, Vice Minister for International Affairs, had meetings with Mr. Dorin Rechean, Prime Minister, Mr. Petru Rotaru, Minister of Finance, and Ms. Anca Dragu, Governor of the National Bank of Moldova.
They had fruitful discussions on various topics, including sanctions against Russia and support for Ukraine, as well as Japan’s economic and financial support for Moldova, and agreed on further strengthening of the bilateral relationship.
