The Second Japan-Korea Finance Deputies’ Dialogue (March 8, 2024)
On March 8, 2024, Mr. Ji-Young Choi, Deputy Minister for International Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea, and Mr. Masato Kanda, Vice Minister of Finance for International Affairs, the Ministry of Finance of Japan, held the second Japan-Korea Finance Deputies’ Dialogue in Tokyo, Japan.
In this dialogue, both sides exchanged candid views on issues, including the global economy, cooperation between Japan and Korea at the ASEAN+3 and G20, and the forthcoming Japan-Korea Finance Ministerial Dialogue. Both sides agreed to continue close cooperation and to hold the next round of this dialogue in Korea.
