Extension of the Period of Anti-Dumping Investigation on Bisphenol A Originating in the Republic of Korea and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu

  1. With regard to the Anti-Dumping Duties Investigation on Bisphenol A* originating in the Republic of Korea and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) have decided to extend the period of investigation by six months until February 19, 2027. The purpose of this extension is to review the evidence and the relevant documents submitted by interested parties, while ensuring full transparency and fairness throughout the investigation process.

    * Note:The product is generally a white solid (granule or powder) and is most commonly used as raw materials for polycarbonate resin or epoxy resin.

  2. MOF and METI have been conducting the investigation since August 20, 2025. The investigation shall be concluded within one year, but the period can be extended by six months at most in special circumstances.
