Signing of Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement (CMAA) between Japan and the Islamic Republic of Iran

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN REGARDING MUTUAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE AND COOPERATION IN CUSTOMS MATTERS was signed at Tehran by H.E. Mr. AIKAWA Kazutoshi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Islamic Republic of Iran and H.E. Dr. Mahdi MIRASHRAFI, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) and Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, on August 22, 2021.

This Agreement will enter into force on the 30th day after the date of receipt of the latter of the notifications by the Contracting Parties, in writing, through diplomatic channels, that their respective internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement have been completed.
