Issuance of Commemorative Coins for the 50th Anniversary of the Reversion of Okinawa to Japan
The Ministry of Finance has decided to issue coins commemorating the 50th anniversary of the reversion of Okinawa to Japan as follows. They will be issued as outlined in the Attachment.

The commemorative 10,000-yen gold coins and 1,000-yen silver coins for the 50th anniversary of the reversion of Okinawa to Japan will not be exchanged at financial institutions. Instead, they will only be available through mail order to the Japan Mint.
