The Council on Foreign Exchange and OtherTransactions established the Subcouncil on theRevitalization of the Asian Economy and FinancialMarkets at its 51st meeting in Novemberlast year. Since that time, the Subcouncil hasheld ten meetings to discuss "the issues onthe economic and financial revitalization of theAsian countries".

This reportsummarizes the opinions and views stated by theSubcouncil members, foreign special members,outside experts, and the Subcouncil's discussionsat the ten meetings.
