The content of the tour

Through videos and a panel exhibition, the tours introduce technologies to prevent counterfeiting and the production process for bank notes, which support our day-to-day life. You can also look at how notes are printed and feel the weight of 100 million yen.

  • 10 minutes’ walk from Kaminakazato station (Kaminakazato-guchi), JR Keihin-Tohoku Line
  • One minutes’ walk from Nishigahara station (Exit 1 or 2), Tokyo Metro Nanboku Line

  • Advance application is required for permission to use a bus for a group tour. Please contact us when making an application for the tour.
  • You can enter the parking for group tour buses from the south gate on the side of Nishigahara station, Tokyo Metro.
  • No cars, motorbikes or bicycles other than authorized vehicles may park at the plant.
  • No private vehicles are permitted at these facilities.

  • From JR Odawara Station (east exit) 20 minutes by Hakone Tozan Bus and 5 minutes on foot from Insatsukyoku-mae (#7: to Kozu station)
  • From JR Kozu station 15 minutes by bus (bound for Odawara station) and five minutes on foot from Insatsukyoku
  • 15 minutes on foot from JR Kamonomiya station (south exit)

By car

  • Five minutes from Seisho Bypass Kozu Interchange
