The Policy Research Institute (PRI) has been conducting research exchanges with the National Institute for Economics and Finance (NIEF), a policy research institute affiliated with the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam, through participation in international conferences hosted by both organizations.
On June 13, 2025, the PRI renewed the Memorandum of Intent (MOI) initially signed in 2010.
On the occasion of NIEF President Nguyen's visit to Japan to participate in the 10th Tokyo Fiscal Forum (TFF), PRI President Komiya held a signing ceremony with NIEF President Nguyen. In addition, the two sides exchanged views on the economic situation of the two countries and the future direction of research exchange, confirming their commitment to further deepening their collaboration.
