The Policy Research Institute (PRI) was invited to deliver a presentation at the Vietnam Economic and Financial Forum (VEFF).
VEFF has been organized every year by the National Institute for Economics and Finance (NIEF), a research institute under the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam. Participants included the representatives from relevant ministries, research institutes, universities and international organizations in Vietnam, as well as the PRI, which has established a strong partnership with the NIEF through research exchanges.
This year, VEFF was held in Hanoi on Friday, December 5, 2025, and consisted of the following two parts.
Morning Session: Strategic Orientation for Economy and Finance
Afternoon Session: Fostering New Growth Engines
Ms. Kimura, President of the PRI, participated as a panelist in the morning session and delivered a presentation titled “Economic Development and Fiscal Policy: Insights from Japan’s Experience.
