Negotiations for Tax Convention with Belgium Will Be Initiated
[Provisional translation]
1. The Government of Japan and the Government of the Kingdom of Belgium will initiate negotiations for the amendment of the current Tax Convention between the two countries, which entered into force in 1970 (Convention between Japan and the Kingdom of Belgium for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income, partial amendment entered into force in 1990 and 2013).
2. The first round of negotiations will take place from March 29, in Tokyo.
