Negotiations for Tax Convention with Sweden will be initiated

[Provisional translation]

1. The Government of Japan and the Government of Sweden will initiate negotiations for the amendment of the current Tax Convention between the two countries, which entered into force in 1983 (partial amendment entered into force in 1999).

2. The first round of negotiations will take place from May 21, in Stockholm.
