京都大学経済学部卒　

ロンドン大学（SOAS）大学院経済学研究科博士課程修了 Ph.D.取得 　

1986年　大蔵省入省
国際金融情報センター・ロンドン事務所長、 ロンドン大学SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies)
経済学部客員講師、財務省大臣官房信用機構課機構業務室長、同国際局国際機構課企画官を歴任。 　

2008年より、神戸大学大学院経済学研究科教授
