Signing of Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement (CMAA) between Japan and the Oriental Republic of Uruguay

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF JAPAN AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ORIENTAL REPUBLIC OF URUGUAY REGARDING MUTUAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE AND COOPERATION IN CUSTOMS MATTERS was signed at Montevideo by H.E. Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and H.E. Mr. Francisco Bustillo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay on January 6, 2021.

This Agreement will enter into force on the 30th day after the date of receipt of the latter notification on which the Contracting Parties have notified each other, in writing, through diplomatic channels, that their respective internal procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Agreement have been completed.
