TheMinistry establishes the Mission of the Ministry of Finance, and the policygoals for policy evaluation

 

Onthe occasion of the establishment of the new Ministry of Finance, under theadministrative reform of central government implemented on January 6, 2001, thenew Mission of the Ministry of Finance and the policy goals for policyevaluation are established and published by the Ministry of Finance. Thesemission and policy goals have been established after consideration of theresults of the public consultation period between November 30 to December 19,2000, and the discussions at several meetings of  "The Council on the Policy Evaluation in the Ministry ofFinance", formed by the Administrative Vice-Minister on October 20, 2000,which consists of experts in various field.

Bythe end of March 2001, The Ministry will formulate and publish the "FY 2001Implementation Plan for Policy Evaluations at the Ministry of Finance",which will determine the details regarding implementation of performanceevaluation and comprehensive evaluation for FY 2001 at the Ministry of Finance.
